Creating test cases

Maybe test cases should begin with use cases?

There are some things that should be considered and maybe use cases could be a better starting point than getting into the data already.  Trying to re-create real life situations could be daunting especially when there are too many factors you would like to consider.  Maybe isolate one variable per test?  Wouldn't that be too tedious?

I felt a bit sick over the weekend so I wasn't able to come up with a matrix that could have simplified things by showing me where scenarios overlap.  Even just as an overview.

In any case, making test cases isn't a quick thing all the time.

You have to come up with scenarios.  That's one.

Then there's also the technology that you would use to run these tests.  People must be familiar with the technologies so we could efficiently use them.
